Wonderful, blessed day today

God blessed us abundantly again today with a wonderful day of praise and worship.  Calvin McCoy did a great job presenting a lesson about one of Jesus' miracles.  One precious soul responded by being baptized into Christ.  This is a young mother with 3 children and she and her family will be a great asset to our spiritual family here at Skyview.

This was a great way to begin a new year with such a wonderful first Sunday in 2021.  We are expecting great things this year with God's help and blessings.  We encourage you to come grow with us.

Praise Service Today

Today we had another wonderful day of praise and worship.  We had a great crowd even with the rainey weather.  We had visitors from the community again, some came as a result of our Community Give-Away yesterday.  We were very encouraged by those who participated in leading our worship today that made it very inspiring.  As this year rushes to an end, we look back with gratitude toward God who blessed us abundantly, and look forward to His continued blessings on the Skyview family.   We have some great things planned and hope you will join us in making this plans a reality.

We had another great period of worship and praise today.  Calvin McCoy preached a good lesson on "Being Misunderstood."  He made some great points that we can use in our everyday life.  Sander Fletcher led our singing which was very spirited and encouraging.   In addition to the new member baptized last Wednesday night, three more are going to be recognized as members of our Skyview family.  Praise GOD for His continued blessings on our congregation.  We had visitors from the community once again as well as some out of town visitors.  We are grateful to God for His hand in our growth.

“[Ask, Seek, Knock] “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”(Daily Reading, ESV)
